Born and raised in Switzerland, I grew up surrounded by mountains, lakes, and a deep curiosity about the world beyond my country’s borders. My passion for travel has taken me across Europe, China, Japan, and South America, experiences that now infuse my fiction with authentic settings and cultural detail.
After settling in Southern California, I built a dual career as a writer and translator. I began my literary journey with The Path of Fire, a collection of poetry that explores themes of passion, identity, and transformation. I then turned to fiction with the Family Portrait trilogy, weaving family dramas and love stories across continents. My Wine Lover’s Daughter mystery series combines love and suspense, strong characters, and the backdrop of European and Californian wine country. My most recent novel, Letter from a Cave, is a historical mystery and romance that connects the past to the present.
My writing is fueled by my fascination with other cultures, my love of language, and my belief that stories connect us across borders. When I’m not writing, I enjoy traveling, reading, savoring art, music, dark chocolate, and red wine.
Winner of the Global Book Award Gold Medal in 2025.
