The following few pictures of different places in Paso Robles helped me create the fictional Segantino winery.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Julietta, Sofia’s sister from Italy, studies at the California Polytechnic State University, short Cal Poly, in San Luis Obispo.

 

 

 

 

 

Adam and Julietta take a drive to the Central Coast to see Cambria, the tiny village of Harmony, the elephant seal sanctuary at San Simeon and Ragged Point.

The two pictures above are of the quaint town of Cambria and the next few of the elephant seal rookery.

 

 

The next few pictures are from Ragged Point, the beginning of the mountain road toward Big Sur.

It’s harvest time in Paso Robles and the Segantino family is very busy.

 

 

The next few pictures show the Benedictine Monastery of the Risen Christ, where Robert Segantino’s uncle works as a lay monk. It is situated in the back land of San Luis Obispo. It is here where Robert find peace from the turbulence of the past months.
