Picture Tour of Finding Angelo
Pictures which served as inspiration to the novel.
Caparone Vineyard in Paso Robles, could be Martin Segantino’s house and vineyard.
Wine cellar of the Segantino family. In reality it is the cellar of the Caparone Winery in Paso Robles (excellent wine!)
Hwy 41 from Paso Robles to Cambria. This is the road where Angelo’s wife had a car accident and died.
New York City, which Sofia and Nicholas visited in order to find out more about their missing Great Uncle Angelo.
Sofia and Nicholas take the ferry to Staten Island where the Segantino relatives live (uncles and cousins)

While Nicholas flies back to California, Sofia visits her vineyard and her sister in Vignaverde, Tuscany. It’s the first time she is in Tuscany in spring. Red poppies, blue cornflowers and vines as far as the eye can see.
The search for her missing great-uncle Angelo, who could be a murderer or a victim, brings Sofia to the Piedmont region in Italy (photo courtesy of Pixabay).
On her journey through the Piedmont, Sofia discovers stunningly beautiful landscapes.
Castello di Pavone, where Sofia and her friend, Tina, went for dinner. It’s an old castle dating back to the Middle Ages, now in private hands. The family who owns it did an excellent job renovating it, leaving most of the old parts intact. It’s now a restaurant and hotel.

This is the cabin where Angelo could be hiding out, up in the mountains of the Piedmont. Will Sofia be able to find him and what happens if she should find him? Is he a killer or a victim? (photo courtesy of Pixabay)
